The Thread We Keep Warm

The Thread We Keep Warm

At Laciann Delacroix, fabric is never just material.

It is memory.Intuition.Energy.

Threads carry stories long before words appear.
Our hands move between fabric, stone, paper, and metal —yet the language guiding them remains the same:

a quiet devotion to creation.

Each season I find myself returning to texture.

To the way light settles upon silk.To how linen remembers the scent of wind after rain.To how the weight of a page — or the clasp of a bracelet —can hold a story within it.
There was a time when our dreams began in cloth.

We searched for forgotten fabrics in quiet ateliers across France and Italy, unrolling bolts of silk and wool as if they were maps, waiting to see where they wished to lead.

From modern textiles to antique lace,we learned something simple and lasting:

to listen.

Now the house has grown.

Garments, objects, jewelry, and written worldshave begun to take shape under the same roof.

Yet the thread remains.

Not as something we left behind, but as something that continues quietly through everything we create.

A bracelet.A page.A garment.A story.

Each one tied by the same promise:

that what is made herewill always be shaped by texture, time, and soul.

Until then,

we keep the thread warm.
