The Thread We Keep Warm

At Laciann Delacroix, fabric is more than material.

It is memory, intuition, and energy—woven into threads that speak before words do.

Our hands may move between fabric, stone, paper, and metal,

but our hearts remain guided by the same quiet language of creation.

Each season, I find myself drawn again to texture—

to the way light rests upon silk,

how linen carries the scent of wind after rain,

how the weight of a page or a polished clasp can hold a story.

There was a time when we dreamt in dresses—

sourcing forgotten fabrics from hidden ateliers across France and Italy,

listening as each roll of cloth revealed what it wished to become.

From the twist of modern textiles to the whisper of antique lace,

we learned how to listen.

Now, as our atelier expands—shaping garments, jewels, and written worlds—

that same thread continues to run through everything we make.

It ties one art to another, one dream to the next.

The fabric remains close—

not as a relic, but as a promise.

A promise that whatever we create,

it will always be born from texture, from time, from soul.

Until then,

we keep the thread warm.
